There’s a new thrill in Brooklyn with the arrival of an ABC Carpet and Home in trendy Industry City. The new location was christened with a welcome party on October 3 and the large, raucous crowd was ready for a party.

The celebratory atmosphere featured a live band with singer, specialty gin cocktails along with a full bar and an appetizer station. For additional fun, there was even face painting, courtesy of an artist who painted designs based on an affirmation card drawn from a basket by the guest.

Known for their imaginative store display, this small side table is adorned with a thin strip of colored sand accentuated with delicate flower petals. Stunning!

The new store is a large, white, loft-like space with high ceilings and wraparound windows. The location will sell furniture, rugs, housewares, china, baby goods, specialty gifts and unique items that one can only find at ABC.

The evening was a great success as guests lounged on furniture and chatted away into the late hours.

If the event was any indication, the new location will have no shortage of customers, as the  enthusiasm for this unique retailer is nearly monolithic. Shopping at ABC, well, it’s as easy as 1,2,3!
