06 Oct Now this from Korea
When I last wrote about skincare I highlighted the virtues of Korean products and their innovation. As the country continues to formulate new offerings, there are always exciting and interesting brands to try.
For those who like serums and brighteners, Aromatica is a fantastic option. Not only are the products effective and indulgent, they are 100% vegan, Ecocert (an organic certification organization), EWG Verified (recognizing products that are free from chemicals of concern to the organization) and cruelty free.
The packaging, in dusty shades of pink, blue and off white, is soft and soothing while also pleasantly direct in design. Especially nice are the frosted glass bottles and vials that have a wonderful hand feel and which are a welcome change from typical plastic containers.
Rose Absolute First Serum is a highly enriched essence containing Bulgarian damask rose oil and organic herb extracts, providing vitality to the skin with a 96% natural formula and a 79% USDA organic certification. The addition of aloe vera leaf extract makes this serum particularly attractive for daily use on dry skin.
Lively SuperBarrier Cica–Panthenol Serum is an emulsion-type serum with a pastel blue color. A moderate amount applied to a freshly cleansed face feels fantastic and offers the benefit of rebuilding the moisture barrier.
Neroli Brightening Facial Oil contributes to a glowing complexion with plant derived ingredients and alpha bisabolol. This helps reduce the synthesis of melanin and breaks up pigmentation, leading to a radiance in the skin.
All three products are great additions to a daily regime and offer benefits that, if used regularly, can deliver long term results. And that’s exactly what we want skincare to do!
