You’re My Butter Half

Carrot Mini Loaf–delicious!

So states the clever bright pink neon slogan inside Butterly, a charming new bakeshop in Park Slope.

Their grand opening on November 2nd was a big success and both times I have visited, there was a line nearly out the door.

The small store front is decorated in a yellow, blue and white theme and even has a butter yellow bicycle parked in front which is a cute touch (and probably used for deliveries). There are a couple of tables inside and as well as window stools should you decide to enjoy your treat in house.

The most charming aspect of this bakery is the staff—everyone is super friendly with big smiles and warm customer service. I’m not sure where else in New York counter staff may call you “love” or “hon” while taking or preparing your order.

In addition to a full menu of baked goods, Butterly offers special weekend treats as well as baking and decorating classes. And just in time for the holidays they will be conducting a class for making a Gingerbread House!

The Almond Bundt Cake with delicate flower decoration is fantastic, both in presentation and taste!

The full website is coming soon but in the meantime they can be followed on Instagram.

When you have a craving for something sweet or want something for a special event, Butterly is the place to go—they really will be your “butter half.”
